Welcome to Handmade Jules.
Hi, I’m Jules! Crafter, mother, nurse, and writer. I love to teach others how to make handmade, DIY craft projects with simple complete instructions!
I’m a fun loving, giving caring soul, wrapped up like a hot mess!
I’m also a wife, mother of 6 in a blended family, grandma, dog mom and a nurse. Having a crazy life on the shores of Lake Michigan, I find comfort and escape in creating, beautiful things!
My happy place can be found with a sewing machine, a Cricut machine, a camera or in the kitchen. I am adventurous in my creating and will try it all! When I learn a new skill, I want to enjoy the process. Becoming overwhelmed or frustrated while learning, takes the fun right out of it!
Throughout my life I have done many things. Some examples are college gymnastics, horses, farming, 4 H, nurse, caregiver, photographer, sales and crazy crafter. During all of these experiences I have enjoyed teaching others, from young to adult.
I believe in smiles
I believe in smiles while learning. Breaking the skill down from beginning to end and giving step by step instructions keeps the process fun and easy.
The sky is the limit! We can learn anything with the desire and a good teacher! I love handmade things and making treasured keepsakes. From simple to involved, if it is made from our heart it is a treasure!
I would love to see what you create and to hear how you share it! Please send a picture to my email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Post it on my Facebook page Handmade Jules, Pin it if you like it or tag me on social media with #handmadejules.
